New York City and More
Even as a child I was writing, directing, and editing films of my family, sending them on all kinds of epic (backyard) adventures. By high school, I was leading in Shakespearean plays + choreographing community theater musicals. I then spent my early professional years in NYC producing live events and radio, and freelance writing for magazines.
I embarked on extensive travels, learning to read Korean, farm in Italy, and meditate in Japan. I was working on underwater photography while grasping (the basics) of Spanish. I discovered my love of the outdoors, specifically hiking and scuba.
On this journey, the people I met and the person I became underscored the profound impact of stories on our shared humanity, as well as their significance for businesses, artists, and causes.
Los Angeles
In 2021 I embraced the unknown, immersing myself in the vibrant landscape of Los Angeles film and video. Drawing on my keen sense of timing and honed skills, I've not only overseen the production of diverse projects but have also taken on the dual role of producer and editor when needed. On set, I ensure that the editor's perspective is seamlessly integrated, guaranteeing that we capture the essential elements needed for a compelling narrative.
My instinct for timing and skill has allowed me not only to edit a wide range of projects, but I've produced them as well, working on set to ensure we have what we need from an editor's perspective.
Atlanta
The film industry has finally brought me to the here and now in Atlanta, Georgia. While I will always love to travel both for the love of new experiences and to be on set, this vibrant city has allowed me to embark on more creative pursuits while still working with professional contacts on both coasts.
In between editing and writing sessions I'm taking long walks on The Beltline and through Grant Park, meeting other creatives in locally owned coffee shops, and hiking to waterfalls.
